Festival time is right around the corner! This year the Sequim Irrigation Festival will celebrate 128 years! We are looking for volunteers to drive our beautiful float and truck and trailer for the upcoming parade season (May through October). The float driver duties include: hauling the float to numerous parades across Washington State, setting up the float, driving it through the parade, and dismantling it at the end, in addition to having lots of fun! Included in the day of being a float driver is getting to hang with our awesome royalty, lunch or dinner (depending on parade – yes we do evening parades as well!), and getting to see parts of Washington you may not have seen before. Our royalty and float crew travel to spread the word about our wonderful festival.
