Bennett’s parents are James and Sarah Castell. He has an older brother Grayson and two dogs Griffey and Louis. His favorite subject in school is math. Bennett loves collecting baseball cards. He loves a good building challenge like putting together puzzles and Legos. He likes helping in the yard with his dad and grandad, but his favorite thing to do is travel on airplanes. Bennett’s favorite sport is baseball but he also plays elite soccer, basketball, and rides BMX bikes. When he grows up, he wants to be a building engineer or the mayor of New York City. He is excited to be a Jr. Royalty because his brother was Jr. Royalty last year. This is an exciting time for him!
Essay
I want to tell you about what I like to do form the mountains to the shore with my family and friends in Sequim. There are so many things to do that it’s hard to choose my favorites.
In the mountains I like to go sledding during the winter up in Hurricane Ridge. In the summer the mountains are nice because my family likes to hike and swim in Lake Crescent. From the tops of the mountains, you can see the shoreline. I like to look for my own house.
In Sequim I enjoy buying treats and fresh fruit at the farmer’s market. My favorite stop is Blue Mountain bakery for their cookies. The fresh fruit comes from the local farms.
The best part of the shoreline is the waves. I like throwing a stick to my dog. I am always brave enough to go into the water. Skipping rocks with my brother and dad is the best.
These are some of my favorite things to do in Sequim. I hope you like Sequim as much as I do and I hope new people get to enjoy our area.
