Trashion Show

May 3 @ 5:30 pm 6:00 pm

The 2025 Trashion Show is moving into the Guy Cole Event Center in Carrie Blake Park.

Anyone with a trashion outfit is eligible to enter the Trashion Show, but you must complete an application. There is no cost to enter. The online application will be available soon, but the downloadable application is available now: Trashion Show Downloadable Application

Last year’s Trashion Show was a huge hit with outfits made from at least 75% recycled materials.

We expect the 2025 Trashion Show to be even bigger and better. Bring any outfit you have made that is created from at least 75% recycled materials and show off your fabulous fashion to the Crazy Callen Weekend audience. The theme for this year’s Sequim Irrigation Festival is ‘Where History Flows & Future Grow’. Prizes will be available in a number of categories.

The Trashion Show will be held as part of the Innovative Arts and Crafts Fair on Saturday May 3rd starting at 5:30pm at the Guy Cole Event Center in Carrie Blake Park. There will be an encore show the following Saturday, May 10th at 6pm at Studio Bob in Port Angeles. All participants are encouraged to do both shows.

What is Trashion?

  • Clothing made of recycled/re-purposed/non-traditional materials
  • 75% of what can be seen should be non-traditional materials (foundation/structurally supportive undergarments are fine)
  • Can be functional/practical or can be artistic/wearable art
  • Should be visually striking
  • Makes a statement
  • Often uses the materials to dictate a theme (i.e, canning lids and rings = Ball gown)

Additionally a slideshow is available to learn more about the Trashion Show: Trashion Show Slideshow
