Sequim Bay Yacht Club Opening Day
May 5 @ 9:30 am – 5:00 pm
Celebrate Open Day for the Sequim Bay Yacht Club on Sunday, May 5th. The celebration activities are being finalized but will likely include the following:
- Open House with light refreshments
- On the Docks you can experience rowing in a rowing shell and free rides on member sailboats
- Flag ceremony
- Bagpiper
9:30 am to 1 pm: Open House – SBYC Clubroom
- Light refreshments and conversation with SYC boarters, rowers, and social members.
10 am – 12:30 pm: On the Docks
- Experience rowing in a rowing shell on Sequim Bay (age 18 and older).
- Free rides on the SBYC Flying Scot sailboats, and member power and sail boats (all ages).
- Signups start at 9:30am, first come, first served, weather permitting. Lifejackets provided.
- Games and goodies for the kids
2:30 pm: At the Marina Building Flagpole
- Flag ceremony and blessing of the fleet, Last Call and special presentations.
3 pm : Pitship Point
- Bagpiper Erik Evans plays as members’ boats parade on Sequim Bay,
