BIO
Anne Marie moved to Sequim 2 years ago from Bothell, Washington to be more accessible to her grandmother. Almost immediately after moving, Anne Marie formed connections with the Blue Whole Gallery and was the first student artist to return to the program since Covid-19. Anne Marie has recently started professionally selling her art at conventions and hopes to someday go to Cornish College to become a professional character designer for animated media.
Anne Marie is a first degree black belt in Taekwondo, wakes up every morning to participate in Sequim High School ASB, works at the Oak Table Café, and has been playing the flute for 7 years. For her platform, she’d like to work to dispel the stereotypes surrounding the condition of OCD.
Anne Marie also received the Congeniality Award, given to her by her peers.
