Kids Parade
May 4 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
The Kids Parade is for kids 12 years and younger. Friends and family enjoy watching as the kids parade around Carrier Blake Park in costume and homemade floats.
The times for the Kids Parade are as follows:
- Lineup at 11:15 am, near the southwest corner of the soccer fields
- Parade starts at 11:30 am. It travels around the park and ends up at the band shell
- Awards given at 11:45 am
Prizes were awarded and the winners announced at the James Center for Performing Arts stage at the end of the parade. Prizes were awarded in the following categories:
- Best Cartoon/Storybook Character
- First Place: Mylee Beeter/Braylen Williams (Snow White)
- Second Place: Eli Eldred and Isaac Eldred (Sam I Am)
- Best Mini Floats
- First Place: Opal & Rory Warren (wagon)
- Second Place: BryantVolker (bicycle)
- All About Sequim (new category this year – any person, place, or thing, current or historical, that represents Sequim)
- First Place: Murphy Taylor
- Second Place: Gabby Laboy
- Grand Prize Overall
- Mylee Beeter/Braylen Williams (Snow White and Dopey)
