The 2026 Royalty Ambassador Scholarship Pageant will be held on February 21, 2026 at 6pm at the Sequim High School Auditorium
The royalty ambassadors represent Sequim and accompany the float as it travels through Western Washington to participate in various community festivals.
The Royalty Ambassador Scholarship Pageant and selection of the royal ambassador court is one of the first activities that takes place for 2026’s 131st Sequim Irrigation Festival, Washington state’s longest continuous running festival. The Royal Ambassador Court is one of the most visible parts of the Irrigation Festival. In addition to traveling with the float, the royalty ambassadors make appearances at various events around town to represent the Irrigation Festival, and also perform community service in the area. In return, members of the Royal Ambassador Court each receive a scholarship ( one $1,250, and three $1,000 scholarships), travel and float wardrobes, parade travel expenses, speech and poise training, and an opportunity to make life-long friends around the state and within the community.
