Essay:
My little piece of heaven is the feeling of the ocean breeze, hearing the seagulls, watching the waves go wave by wave and watching the boats sail by.
My other piece of heaven is the plants. They let us breathe and smell delightful. Flowers, trees, and other plants let us breathe and that’s why I am so grateful for them.
My last piece of heaven is the beautiful sunshine that we are given and the life I am able to live.
This is why I love living in Sequim, because it has all my little pieces of heaven.

Sequim is my little piece of heaven no matter what season!
Each Spring we celebrate the Irrigation Festival with a parade, beautiful royalty, and carnival.
My best summer days are spent at lavender farms and hiking to the Dungeness Spit lighthouse.
Every fall I bike the Olympic Discovery Trail and stop to watch the salmon swim up the Dungeness River.
On winter evenings I go see the lights at Railroad Bridge Park, watch the tractor parade, and drink hot cocoa at the downtown tree lighting.
No matter which season, Sequim is my little piece of heaven. I love living here!

Essay:
The first reason Sequim is a little piece of heaven to me is nature. Animals are everywhere. The elk are in herds in the fields resting in the soft grass. The deer are in our yard. The frogs are in the pond croaking. The fir trees are beautiful standing in the forest. The mountains are beautifully standing in the woods. Beautifully flowing under the Dungeness Bridge, is the river.
Secondly the places in Sequim that I like to go make it a little piece of heaven. I go to Jose’s with my family and we all get food. It is delicious! The second place is Dungeness Kids Co. I like the toys, candy, and jewelry. The last place is That Takes the Cake. When we go there, we get to pick out a cupcake.
Lastly, we go on the boat to catch shrimpy, crabbys, and fishes. I have three dances. The fishy dance, crabby dance, and shrimpy dance. This makes Sequim a little piece of heaven because it is so much fun.
The last paragraph is my friends and family which all live in Sequim. This is why I think Sequim is a little piece of heaven.
