Royalty Pageant

Applications for 2025 Irrigation Festival Royalty are now closed.
The 2025 Royalty Scholarship Pageant will be held on February 22, 2025 at the Sequim High School.
The 2024 Royalty are:
- Queen Ariya Goettling, sponsored by Bibity Bobity – A Kid’s Place
- Princess Kailah Blake, sponsored by Blake Tile & Stone
- Princess Sophia Treece, sponsored by Little Shop of Hairdos
- Princess Ashlynn Northaven, sponsored by Sequim Electronics
The royalty represent Sequim and accompany the float as it travels throughout Western Washington to participate in various community festivals.
The Royalty Scholarship Pageant and selection of the royal court is one of the first activities that takes place for this year’s 130th Sequim Irrigation Festival, Washington state’s longest continuous running festival. The Royalty Court is one of the most visible parts of the Irrigation Festival. In addition to traveling with the float, the royalty makes appearances at various events around town to represent the Irrigation Festival, and also performs community service in the area. In return, members of the Royal Court each receive a scholarship (one $1,250 scholarship for the Queen and three $1,000 scholarships for each of the Princesses/Princes), travel and float wardrobes, parade travel expenses, speech and poise training, and an opportunity to make life-long friends around the state and within the community.
