Making of the Festival
For 114 years the citizens of Sequim and the Dungeness Valley have been proud to host the celebration of irrigation water being mixed with the rich soil to produce the crops vital to the historical success of our large farming area. The gift of water has brought us the joy of coming together as citizens, neighbors and friends. No festival of this magnitude could be produced without a hard working Board of Directors and the hundred-plus volunteers who’s helping hands do the real work of producing the full week of events. What you will experience is the result of dedication and pride. We love this paradise that we salute and celebrate at festival time. We hope you enjoy our festival and that you feel this is "small town" America at its finest.
